Vanessa Murnane is the sole designer of the fashion, demi-fine, and fine jewelry offered by Amorcito. When she founded the company more than a decade ago, she decided she wouldn’t be constrained by fashion rules. ‘I think jewelry should be playful and fun – never boring. The quality should be exceptional, and each piece should be one-of-a-kind.’ Vanessa is a certified gold and silversmith, and loves being in the shop – handcrafting boldly unique pieces she designs. Amorcito is translated to English as ‘little love.’ And every happiness-inspired piece is designed by Vanessa - these are her ‘amorcitos.’ Our inspiration, Beginning with our 2012 launch, our woman and Latina owned company has been inspired by the beauty and majesty of women and nature. We pay homage to the distinctive and unpretentious beauty of diverse places and cultures around the world (starting at home in California). We offer a tribute to each landscape by using their imagery and indigenous stones and materials. Our natural gemstones and metals are responsibly and ethically sourced and whenever possible, provided by local suppliers.
