Ayse offers handbags and accessories in finest leather and other sustainable materials with a focus on unconventional shapes, considered details, and a slow-form, craftsmanship production. Each piece is developed and made in South Korea; blending superlative craftsmanship with modern technology.

About the Designer
Ayse was founded in 2019 by Minji(MJ) Jung(Creative Director & CO-Founder) and Taekeun(TK) Nam (CEO & Co-Founder). MJ Jung was an aspiring student of Fine Art from a young age, but attended colleges in Interior Design and Visual Communication Design majors, which informed her first memories and inspirations in terms of design.
The duo met 5 years ago, in NYC when they were both college students. MJ studied Accessory Design at FIT, while TK was into Accounting at CUNY Baruch. After few years at Madewell, Schwartz & Benjamin, and Proenza Schouler for MJ, and many experience and projects for TK, they fulfilled their dream by launching their own brand, Ayse.
Seoul, South Korea is where Ayse was born. Korean fashion is often heralded as some of the best in the world. With Seoul quickly becoming one of the fashion capitals in the world, and definitely of Asia, Korean fashion is becoming more popular by the day. MJ and TK decided to launch Ayse in South Korea where not only leads fashion trend but also has an outstanding leather goods production system.
