BENSEM – Basic Natural Spirit in Motion.
In 2018 I asked myself what is the most worn shoe for women and men? It was a sneaker. It is worn in all seasons, on almost all occasions, and worldwide. I am very connected to nature and the environment, so I was looking for a material that would do justice to my thoughts. It is the fur of the merino sheep. It takes over the heat regulation especially when wearing barefoot and offers an optimal feel-good climate. You enjoy the fluffiness of the fur and it also prevents the smell of your feet. I took advantage of these properties and delivered the first lifestyle sneaker in August 2019, which was made from 100% grown Merino sheepskin (double face). The reactions to the BNSM sneaker and the sale were excellent. It is extremely light and comfortable because nothing can press in a fur shoe. Many people know the Merino sheepskin from the fashion and lifestyle boots in the past years.
