We are Jody & Juliana, best friends and creative collaborators on this labor of love that we call Cobalt & Tawny.
We hail from Canada {Jody} and Brazil {Juliana} and have built on our unique backgrounds, distinctive styles and diverse experience to create a truly international fashion and lifestyle brand based in Maui, Hawaii.
Creating the island-inspired casually chic resort fashion that we have become known for, has been a journey, which has taken us around the world in search of the perfect partners and collaborators.
After producing our first two collections in Bali, which also offered gorgeous settings for our early campaigns, we shifted our production to India, where we are also lucky to partner with talented embroiderers and printers who bring to life our exclusive hand painted prints.
At Cobalt & Tawny, we value connection and community. This past year has challenged us to find creative ways to work together while staying safe apart and without the benefit of face-to-face connection. It has challenged us to stay engaged with our community in new ways and create moments of joy and hope during these unprecedented times.
