Natalie Dennis is a luxury accessories brand focussing on originality and high-quality designs. Our founder, Natalie, acquired her degree in BA Accessories and Business at Cordwainers College, which is now part of the London College of Fashion. Her graduate roles that followed her degree saw her head up the design team at the handbag company Dollargrand, where she worked for two years. Following this, Natalie spent the next four years designing and releasing her first collection under her own name which began selling on Portobello Market and was later stocked in the high street retailers 'Topshop' and 'House of Frazer'. However, despite her success within this market, she still had her sights set on luxury retail.
Her childhood was spent surrounded by the exquisite views of Exmoor, North Devon. Having grown up with views of both countryside and the ocean, Natalie drew inspiration from the world around her, spending afternoons painting and drawing in the long grass that surrounded her home. Nature has always been a huge influence in Natalie's life, particularly the ocean in the shapes the water creates, the colors that bounce off the reflections, the creatures living among the rocky shoreline, and the shells that live within it. As a child, she spent many hours experimenting with her crafts, a passion that her parents loved and supported, particularly as her school record began to suffer, this was explained later on in her childhood as she was diagnosed with severe dyslexia.
A career change into property development in the late 2000s gave Natalie the time to collate her ideas and her finances for her plan to shift into the luxury retail market. She spent this time traveling the world, finding her influences, and exploring new cultures, different architecture, and historical places. She also took this time to research the very best creatives in the field, finding manufacturers and suppliers that can aid the development of her designs, these creatives she found in Italy. Her newest collection is a collaboration with the finest creatives from Florence, the range is manufactured in Italy and finished by Natalie herself in the UK. All her designs have been made from the highest quality refined leather, aiding her to jump into luxury retail.
