Designed in New York and handmade in Colombia. Stivali New York is a symbol that elevates diversity and empowers both, the people that wear it and the artisans behind the shoes. We believe that footwear should be sophisticated in design and ethical to wear.
The way Stivali honors its vision is by offering products and services conceived in the family along with our artisans, revealing our operations transparently, and crafting elevated yet practical collections in our family's atelier. We are shoemakers since 1998.
Shoemaking is an art, from its beginning from the known factories and designers in Italy. That is where our initial reference comes from; merged along with our indigenous and pre-Hispanic history. Our heritage in the label shines through our ethically crafted sculptural yet functional shoes in Colombia.
It takes an artist to create a shoe. Most people think only about the end product, but there is so much more to it, and the global market is becoming more aware and interested to learn about it. That is where our history and offer get the biggest value.
Stivali has over 20 years of shoemaking experience. Louis Guarin is a second-generation shoemaker, as the atelier was conceived first in 1998 in Bogota, Colombia by Eduardo Guarin, Louis Guarin’s father and mentor.
We hold in-house control of our supply chain. Stivali designs, handcrafts, distributes, markets, and sells high-quality leather footwear at an attainable price point. Something that we envision as accessible luxury.
We identified a gap in the industry. Consumers did not have easy access to affordable, comfortable, and high-quality leather footwear. They would have to pay a high price or sacrifice quality.
