In 1981, Eric and Lin moved Van Peterson to Walton Street in Chelsea, and began creating their own jewellery designs to sell alongside the antique pieces. These proved extremely popular, and as a result Eric and Lin chose to concentrate on elaborating their own designs, which now make up everything you will see in their store and on the Van Peterson website today. Taking inspiration from their extensive travels around the world, and interest in gemstones and symbolism, Van Peterson’s jewellery designs strike a fine balance between eclectic and contemporary, making them a firm favourite amongst fashion stylists.
Many of Van Peterson’s pieces have been featured in glossy magazines like Harpers Bazaar, Tatler, Elle and Vogue, as well as the fashion pages of major newspapers. Throughout its thirty years Van Peterson have established themselves as a high end designer jewellery brand, with a loyal client base that includes some famous names like actress Charlize Theron, fashion models Poppy and Cara Delevigne, and music legend Annie Lennox.
